Hoffman Law, Inc. was founded in 2013 by Melissa Hoffman who has worked in the legal field for over twenty-one years, and is based in Alameda, California.  We pride ourselves on obtaining the best results for our clients with impeccable service.

Melissa Hoffman is well versed in estate planning and in Probate.  She is also a litigator and has won 90% of her Workers’ Compensation trials and successfully obtained thousands of dollars for her clients.

Melissa Hoffman obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree from Iowa State University with a major in Political Science and minors in Criminal Justice and Psychology.   Prior to becoming an attorney, Melissa Hoffman worked for ten years as a paralegal in California. 

Melissa Hoffman is admitted to practice before the to the State Bar of California, the United States District Court, Southern District of California and the United States District Court, Central District of California.

She is also a member of the Alameda County Bar Association. Melissa Hoffman is also a volunteer attorney with the Lawyers In The Library program.

When not working, Melissa enjoys sailing in the San Francisco Bay and traveling the world with her spouse, Michael.
