Hoffman Law, Inc. was founded in 2013 by Melissa Hoffman who has worked in the legal field for over twenty-seven years, and is based in Alameda, California.  I pride myself on obtaining the best results for my clients with impeccable service.

Melissa Hoffman is well versed in estate planning, trust administration and Probate.  I am also a litigator and has won 90% of her Workers’ Compensation trials and successfully obtained thousands of dollars for my clients.

I obtained my Bachelor of Arts degree from Iowa State University with a major in Political Science and minors in Criminal Justice and Psychology.   Prior to becoming an attorney, I worked for ten years as a paralegal in California. 

I am admitted to practice before the to the State Bar of California, the United States District Court, Northern District of California, the United States District Court, Southern District of California and the United States District Court, Central District of California.

I am also a member of the East Bay Trusts and Estates Lawyers organization. I am also a volunteer attorney with the Lawyers In The Library program.

When not working, I enjoy sailing in the San Francisco Bay, traveling the world and playing with my cats.
